Tournament Rules

Official rulebook for Summer Showdown tournaments

Team Composition & Roster

  • Adding/changing teammates allowed until 1 week before tournament after notifying mods
  • Teams must present full roster including 1-2 subs by roster deadline
  • Every player can only play for one team
  • Fewer than 5 members constitutes an invalid team - will result in disqualification
  • Every player must provide an op.gg profile

Rank Requirements

  • Teams allowed maximum 2 players of Master rank or higher
  • Players demoted within a year still count as Master rank
  • Subs intended only for emergencies, not competitive advantage

Streaming & Broadcasting

  • Streamers allowed to stream with minimum 3-minute delay
  • Delay required to prevent cheating from viewers

Game Management

  • Pausing allowed for maximum 30 minutes for technical issues/disconnects
  • Opposing team must be notified of pause cause
  • Game resumes only after both teams agree to continue
  • Disagreements should be handled privately outside of games

Disciplinary Actions

  • Disqualification may result from:
  • • Using cheats/hacks that help win games
  • • Vulgar/insulting misconduct beyond 'fun trash talking'
  • • Hate speech in any form
  • • Account sharing with different players
  • • Intentional feeding/throwing games
  • • Offensive/non-TOS friendly team names/logos
  • • Predatory sexual behavior toward any player

Registration opens roughly 1-2 months before each tournament. Fill out the Google Form in the tournament section with your team details.

No! All Summer Showdown tournaments are completely free to enter. We're all about bringing the community together for competitive fun.

Prize pools vary by tournament. Recent tournaments have featured £500 in prizes including pickems competitions. Check the specific tournament page for exact prize distribution.

Yes! Teams must have 5-7 registered players to participate to cover any potential no-shows.

All matches are played on the EUW (Europe West) server unless otherwise specified.

Yes! All matches are streamed live on our Twitch channel, and VODs are uploaded to YouTube afterward. Some games are streamed simultaneously to our secondary channel if the stream is too busy.

Absolutely! We're always looking for passionate community members to help with casting. Contact us through Discord or the contact form.

Contact an admin immediately via Discord. We may be able to reschedule depending on the circumstances, but repeated no-shows may result in disqualification.

All disputes should be reported to tournament admins immediately with screenshots/evidence. Admin decisions are final and based on the official rulebook.
